Computer Literacy & Keyboarding
ABE computer classes help students gain skills in various computer applications, Internet web searching, emailing, and basic computer literacy. Students may also learn computer skills through self-study, with support provided by instructors and lab assistants. In addition, students can obtain Microsoft Office certificates by completing a series of computer tests that will demonstrate acquired knowledge and proficiency of each program.
The ABE computer lab offers excellent vocational preparation in the following software applications:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Access)
- Various keyboarding tutorial software programs
- QuickBooks
Registration is ongoing and the first step is to complete the ABE Interest Form below.
If you don't have a Mt. SAC ID#, you will also need to complete the SCE Noncredit Application. Here is a guide to completing the application or you can utilize our Zoom Tech option for one-on-one assistance.
