Course Objectives:
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to interpret the meaning of common American gestures
  • students will self-assess their strengths and weaknesses in pronunciation of vowels consonants
  • students will self-assessment the strengths and weaknesses with stress and intonation
  • Students will demonstrate greater confidence in English conversation.
  • Students will recognize correct use of grammar and language functions in conversational speech (e.g. ?I am interested in?.? vs.? I am interesting in?.? and correct sentence structure in ?I was wondering if you could tell me the answer to number 13.?).
  • Demonstrate improvement in ability to recognize correct grammar and usage of common language functions (pre-post objective assessment)
