Student Learning Outcomes

• Students will submit a comprehensive portfolio that includes multiple measures and evidence of low-beginning level skill achievement in English language proficiency.
• Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of emergency services in the community and how to contact them. Funding was utilized from WIOA funding to purchase Heinle Picture Dictionary class sets.
• Students will demonstrate Pre-Level 1 proficiency by passing the department standardized comprehensive final examination.
• Students will demonstrate language skills necessary to become productive and successful members of the community by completing the English Literacy and Civics (EL Civics) assessment for literacy level.
