Course Objectives:
  • 60% of students completing READ 70 will be able to explain their vocabulary strategy choice a given narrative text as measured by a rubric constructed by reading faculty as a “meets standard” level in all areas measured.
  • 4. Students will be able to recognize connections among ideas in a narrative text.
  • 5. Students will be able to question narrative text at a variety of comprehension levels.
  • 6. Students will be able to demonstrate awareness of demands for reading narrative text.
