THTR 13 ( To interview, click HERE)
Interviews: Tuesday, February 22nd
Rehearsals: February 23rd - April 14th, 7-10pm
Performances: April 15th-17th
Students interested in interviewing for tech positions (stage management, crew, costume/scenic/lighting/sound design) for Scraps will be working with Prof. Christ (Scenic/Lighting/Tech), Prof. Burgos (Stage/Production Management), Prof. Barrett (Directing/Acting) and Prof. Ogden (Costume) directly. After a successful interview, the department faculty will determine a student’s exact position based on interest and experience. Crew positions will be registered in a 1-credit section of THTR 13 for the final 4 weeks of rehearsal (in March/April), while students interested in design/tech/stage management will be registered in a 2-unit section of THTR 13 and be working directly with faculty and other students during the entire 8-week rehearsal process (Feb-Apr), culminating in final tech rehearsals and performances in April.
Students interested will fill out an interest form outlining their skills, interests, or aspects of the process that they would like to be involved in - and we will do our best to create that opportunity.
All interview forms must be submitted on or before February 22nd. After a successful interview, students will be contacted by February 23rd to register for the class and will, at that time, be given further instruction. Please be specific in outlining your availability, and we will do our best to work around conflicts.
